Piles is a group show focused on exploring individual artists' attempts to portray the organization of stored memories. The show will include artists who re-purpose saved objects and demonstrate idiosyncrasies in their organization of intangibles, be they obsessive, methodical or even whimsical characteristics. Visitors will immerse themselves in analyzing the aesthetics of collective and individual memory.

The collaboration is in the form of their first 7 Inch Split Single which will featuring a song each by the bands HARBOR LIGHTS and RIBS!
I made all of the covers individually and they are numbered 1-500.
The unique record covers are Collages consisting of Painted Paper, Found Objects, Found Images and the POWER RECORDS Stamp.

NEVERandagain, organized by artist and independent curator Elissa Levy, brings together international residents of ISCP and artists from the Brooklyn community to explore the affect of images on the art-making process. We are surrounded by imagery in newspapers, magazines, books, films, and on the Internet. These are both a part of our immediate experience and are also historical remnants. With today’s technology we are able to manipulate and edit these images in order to highlight what concerns and interests us most. Thus, history can repeat itself in an endless loop, the present can become a found object and the future can be predicted and altered. Re-imagining time and space re-creates our place within them. The artists included in this exhibition recognize the authority of images and our ability to reclaim that authority through visual art.
